    NC-CP (NewClass Control Panel):


    Contains 64 workstation selection keys, each key contains 2 LEDs that indicate the on/off, calling-in, and selection status of each workstation; 7 media type input keys, 4 volume control keys and microphone headset outlets, over 30 function keys and an LCD that displays the current operation.



    NC-MC (NewClass Multimedia Network Card)


    Contains its own CPU, which enables the card to work independently and use none of the system resources. Both ISA and PCI versions are available; built-in sound card connection port; one card per each student computer.

    Multimedia cables connect each multimedia network card through a bus topology.


    NC-HM (Headset with microphone)


    High fidelity, superior sound proofing and free of noise interference; one per student computer.


    Integrator


    Supports multiple AV and VGA input and output, which makes easy to connect with various multimedia equipment. The high quality conversion from Video to VGA is completed inside the integrator, which makes it easy to control the receiving, switching, and multiple-channel broadcasting of various external multimedia programs on the control panel. The integrator has 4 extension ports, each of which can connect up to 64 student computers.

    Multimedia broadcasting
    The instructor can broadcast his/her screen to an individual or a group of computers along with external signals from DVD, VCR, TV/AV, audio recorder, camcorder and visual presenter. Audio and video can be broadcasted independently.

    Supervision
    The instructor can monitor the screen and audio of each student, as well as external AV programs. The instructor can also monitor a group of or all student computers on a rolling basis. The time interval can be preset. The supervision of screen and audio can be conducted separately.

    Remote Tutoring
    When the instructor supervises a student, he/she can take over the student computer with his/her own keyboard and mouse to deliver one-on-one instruction if necessary.

    Private Discussion
    The instructor can have a private talk with a student on the microphone without being heard or interrupted by the other students.

    Open Discussion
    The instructor can select any students to speak, while the other students can hear the student's voice through the earphones. In addition, the number of students participating in the discussion can be adjusted by the instructor.

    Student Presentation
    The instructor can designate a student to use the student's keyboard and mouse to operate the instructor computer. The student therefore acts as a teaching assistant; at the same time, the instructor's keyboard and mouse are still active.

    Student Broadcast
    The instructor can broadcast the screen and audio of any student to a group or all students.

    Blank Screen
    The instructor can blank the screens of an individual, a group or all students to help the students concentrate on the lecture rather than their screens.

    Selection
    The instructor can select students in the course and check student's computer on/off status.

    Group Teaching
    Students can join different groups and each group can appoint a group leader, who broadcasts his/her own screen and audio to the team members. The instructor can monitor each group or remotely instruct the leader through the leader's computer.

    Group Discussion
    A class can be divided into groups; each group can have an arbitrary number of members. Group discussion can be done without interference between groups. The instructor can join any group discussion at any time.

    Multiple Video Broadcasting
    A class can be divided into groups, to which different programs can be broadcasted.

    Dual Audio Channel Selection
    A student can select from two stereo programs.

    Take Over
    The instructor can take over the keyboard(s) and mouse(mice) of an individual or a group computers to synchronize them with instructor computer.

    Hotkey
    A student can send a request to the instructor by pressing the "hotkey" on his/her keyboard. The corresponding LED on the instructor control panel will flash with a beep.

    Lock/Unlock
    The instructor can lock/unlock the keyboard(s) and mouse(mice) of an individual, a group or all students if necessary.

    Remote Reboot
    The instructor can remotely reboot the computer(s) of an individual, a group or all students.

    Self Repeat
    Each student unit has the ability to echo his/her microphone voice input into the earphone. This feature can be an effective self-improvement tool.

    Rush Contest
    A rush contest can be conducted by using the hotkeys of students.
